HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS APPLIED AT MILAS LAST?
Semi-permanent extensions can last as long as you maintain them. To maintain the look, Re-Lashe appointments are necessary every 4 weeks to replace the Lashes that have shed or outgrown naturally. Our Adhesives are formulated to hold the Lash in spite of water, heat, steam or sweat. The Lashe Conditioner can be applied twice daily to prolong the life of Extensions.
WILL I BE ABLE TO SENSE I AM WEARING EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
No! Because the Extensions are placed 1 millimeter away from the base of the natural Lashes, you won't be able to feel the extensions. The Lashe Extensions unique lightweight design ensures that your new extensions will feel like your natural lashes. The technique at Milas is to attach the natural lashes to a Single Lashe Extension, assuring you will not feel any discomfort. Also, the Adhesive we use is so flexible that the Lashes move with your natural lashes, even in a wind gust.
CAN I APPLY EYELASH EXTENSIONS TO MY OWN LASHES?
No! Only a trained professional should attempt to apply Extensions. Eye injury or clumpy looking Lashes are likely to result from unprofessional or self application.
CAN I SWIM, SPA OR HAVE A FACIAL WHILE WEARING EXTENSIONS?
Yes! Milas Lashe Extensions can keep up with your busy lifestyle. You may wear them on vacation, skiing, swimming, snorkeling and sunning all day! We recommend you wait 24 to 48 hours before engaging in the above.
CAN I WEAR MASCARA WITH EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Yes! Although the Extensions give the appearance of wearing Mascara. Should you wish to wear Mascara, Milas recommends only "The Lashe Mascara". which have been specifically formulated for Lash Extensions. Other mascaras will cause premature shedding. If you choose to wear Mascara, apply sparingly and only on the tips, never apply from base to tips. We only recommend using "The Lashe Eye Make-up Removers" which are also specifically formulated not to affect the bond of the Adhesive. For an Extra Dramatic Look Eyelash Masquera $35.
DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS HARM MY NATURAL LASHES?
No! Since the Eyelash Extensions are not applied to the base of your natural lashes and does not touch the skin, the growth cycle of the natural lashes is not affected. At Milas we only use lightweight extensions to create your look. The accuracy of Lash application at Milas is also a key to the health of your natural lashes.
HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSION APPLICATION TAKE?
You should plan on 2 hours to apply a Full Set of Eyelash Extensions (80 to 100+ Lash Hairs each Eye.
IS THER A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MILAS APPLICATION AND OTHER PRODUCTS?
Yes! The Three main differences are how natural extensions look, how long they last and how they affect your natural lashes. Some Products available are: eyelash strips, flares, clusters, lash tabs, mascaras, semi permanent mascaras or eyelash growing liquids. False eyelash strips are the oldest and probably the most well known product. They involve using a gummy adhesive that touches the skin, and are the least natural looking. Lash strips only last a day and can come off or dislodge during the course of wear. Flares, clusters, and lash tabs are often misrepresented in the market as eyelash extensions. These products consist of between 3 to 8 lash bunches with a node or knot at the end. Application involves adhesive touching the skin or the node attached to multiple natural lash bases, which will often damage the natural lash.
IS THE EYELASH APPLICATION COMFORTABLE?
Yes! It is such a comfortable process that most of our clients are so relaxed that they fall asleep. During the application, you are reclined on a massage bed with special neck pillows with the eyes closed. It is the same as going for a facial.
HOW MANY EYELASH EXTENSIONS ARE IN A FULL SET AT MILAS?
Here is where the real difference is! Depending on how many natural lashes you have, on average a Full Set will be approximately 80 to100 extensions or more placed on each eye. The results are astonishing! Special attention is also on positioning the Lash Curl, so as to not be angled toward or away from the eye corners. Many Lash Boutiques only apply 30 to 50 Lash Hairs to each Eye and consider this as their Full Set. At Milas a FULL SET is 80 to 100 Lash Hairs each Eye! Milas Lushe Lashe is 120 plus Lash Hairs each Eye!
IS THE ADESIVE SAFE?
Yes! Milas uses The Lashe Fume Free and Rapid dry adhesives which is Medical Grade, designed and produced at an FDA certified facility. they are the same adhesives used for wound healing. The Lashe Adhesive has maximum bonding strength with high flexibility and shine. Please inform your technician before application if you have an allergy to an adhesive or Latex. At Milas we only use this high quality Expensive Adhesive, which is Temperature and Shelf Life Controlled and made in the USA.
WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS MADE OF?
Milas Eyelash Extensions are made of both All Natural or Premium synthetic materials and are Non-Allergenic. They are Nylon based with an Organic Silk core for a Very Dramatic Look. The shine and shape will not be affected by water, heat, steam or sweat and will keep up with your busy schedule. We also use Natural Mink Lashes in Brown and Black for a Very Natural Soft Look. At Milas we Do Not charge an extra Premium for Mink Lashes. It's Your Choice Nylon/Silk or Mink!
