Go check them out!

Go check them out! I get my haircut and keratin done there. My hair always comes out looking great:) I recently tried eyelashes because I saw a couple of customers eyelashes and let me tell you!!!! I was blown away with the results;) Great customer service and affordable.

Comments: Hello- I want to write a review for my awesome new hair style, however, I am not on Facebook. Here is what I want to say: I came in last night since I was staying the night in Tucson (I am from Gilbert, AZ) I "goggled hair salons in Tucson" Milas popped up so I called and spoke to Rocio. She was super friendly on the phone and made me feel welcome. She was able to see me on a Friday night for a cut, and color. What I did not know when I walked in, that I would walk out feeling and looking like a new person. I look 10 years younger. She was so professional, patient and full of great ideas. She made suggestions that I never thought about. She gave me a great cut, colored and highlighted my hair and she also waxed my eyebrows. They look the best they have ever looked. I have never stayed with one salon, but that has now changed. I will be coming back. Thank you Rocio, you did an awesome job. I went to see Amanda and was taking luck of the draw!  But what a win for me!  She knows how to cut curly hair, which is not an easy task and she styled it beautifully.  I would definitely recommend her to anyone.  She is new in town, so Sourth Carolina's loss is Tucson's win!

I decided I needed to cut off around 12 inches of hair. It was just time for a change. I decided to go to Mila's for the new look.I just wanted to say, "Thank you!" to Kayla for the wonderful job she did on my hair. I've gotten nothing but compliments on my hair. She listened to me and added her own experience to create what is likely the best haircut I've ever had! Seriously, everyone who has seen my new look has raved about how good I look! I have never gotten this much attention for a haircut before. I am amazed and hooked! I'll be back!

Quality Excellent

I went in to see Julie after having grown my hair out for 2 years. I was nervous about switching too a shorter style but she made me feel very comfortable! She asked a lot of questions about what I wanted and I ended up with a cut that I love! I will definitely go back to see Julie next time I get my hair cut.

 

 

What more can I say? With four out of four passing grades will keep me coming back with Julie now being my new go-to gal!

  She helped take my hair from a gradient nightmare (Red at the top with grown out black roots to brown/black at that bottom), which was the result of me trying to color my hair on my own lol..never agian. To a modern and trendy black Japanese street fashion look, with red and purple pops of color! I can't help but play with my hair and have fun with the off beat cut. It's nice to finally find a hairstylist who will listen to your ideas and influences, and guide you through the process to achieve the look your gunning for. She even was nice enough to send me home with some new hair styling product to get that "spiky" punk rocker look. I'll be back soon for a touch up!

  I went in a frumpy houdewife and came out a tidy clean woman. My husbsnd loved the cut and I felt so much better. Karol was so great it was such a plessant experience with her. She was proffesional and clearly knew what she was doing. I plan on returning again. Really lived up to their reviews here. I would make sure to schedule an apointment but the wait was not bad at all. Karol took the time with me on my hair I could see that this salon does not rush their clients.

  I had not been to a hair stylist for about 4yrs, since my regular hairstylist had move out of Tucson, in addition it is very diffcult to find a stylist truely good at cutting naturally curly hair. I FOUND one today at Mila's..Cisco did a wonderful job!! THANK YOU Cisco! I have not been this pleased in a while, in addition the staff was very friendly from the start.. as soon as I called for an appointment the gal that answered the phone was very helpful. The hours that they are open can accomodate anyone's busy schedule and the prices are very reasonable.

  Last year I was looking for a good place to get my hair cut. I found this place and I've been coming back ever since. They really do a good job and they listen to what you really want. They ask questions as they go through the process of cutting your hair. I recommend this place for everyone!

  I have been going to both of Mila's hair salon's every 10 days or so from the first day she opened. I accidentally walked in as she was getting ready to open the doors for the first time few years back and never went anywhere else since. I am stationed at Davis-Monthan with the Air Force and although the barber shop on base is closer and cheaper the quality of service and experience that Mila and her staff provide has not been matched yet. And I have seen a lot of barbers in my 12 years of military service...Keep up good work Mila!!!

  Mila gave me the best cut I have ever received! She has the good grace to truly listen to her clients and incorporate their wishes into her vision. I have very curly hair, and have always had difficulty finding stylists who really know how to cut it. Many people claim to be able to cut curly hair, but few can do so well. Mila actually exceeded my expectations. She worked with the curl instead of against it, giving me a cut that looked beautiful for a full two months - my hair grows fast so this was truly an accomplishment. The cut also worked very well with my face, accentuating my eyes (which I have been told are beautiful), and drawing attention away from my chin - something that has become important after gaining weight in the past couple of years. The cut is actually better than any I have gotten at very, very high end salons. Everywhere I go, I receive compliments. Thank you, Mila! Its relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

  I moved to Tucson 15 months ago and have had a difficult time finding someone to cut and style my hair. The last time I got my hair cut was at the Tucson Mall in December. I was not satisfied with the cut nor the style. Just when I thought I'd never find the right Cosmetologist, I ran across Mila's Salon on Craigslist - which then supplied the link to the Salon's personal website. Today I had an appointment at the new location on River & Craycroft with Kayla and feel so blessed to have found her and will NEVER have to look for another hairdresser again. When I arrived, I explained to Kayla that I just needed a change. My hair had been long my entire life and I felt like my hair looked drabby. Kayla took the time to find out what I thought I'd like to have done and listened intently to my thoughts, feelings and fears. I explained that in the past hairdressers didn't pay attention to how I syled my hair, therefore I always had to run straight home and re-do my hair. Kayla spoke about the texture of my hair and the different options that we could do. After her consultation she asked if she could take my picture before we got started - which I agreed. She trimmed about 6 inches off of the length, dyed my hair and added highlights. After styling my hair she took my picture again. I could not believe how terrible my hair looked before my "makeover"! The ends were thin, dry and looked terrible. The before and after pictures of my hair was such a difference - and to think that my long hair was so beautiful. The only regret that I have is that I didn't meet Kayla sooner! Kayla was so polite and treated me with such professionalism and respect the whole time I was there. She was warm and inviting. While doing my hair the phone ran several times. Each time she stopped to answer the phone she was courteous, professional and never appeared rushed or busy to the caller. Kayla is definately an asset to Mila's Salon and I will refer everyone that I know to go to Kayla. This was the most pleasant and enjoyable visit that I have ever had at a beauty salon! YAY

  FIVE STAR SALON HANDS DOWN!!! My husband and I have been coming to Milas for quite some time and the experience has always been amazing. He actually was the one that brought me to Milas. I came with him a couple of times with him and it was pretty busy the time we came. I fell in love with one of the clients hair. She had just got an haircut and highlights, it was exactly what I had been looking for. So I asked if they had an opening but because it was a Saturday they were fully booked for the day. I scheduled an appointment for the next day which was Sunday. I was greeted as soon as I came in and offered coffee or water. The stylist was very professional and knowledgeable and she LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED!!!!! My hair was exactly how i wanted it. So thanks to my husband I found my salon. The staff is very honest and professional. The salon is clean and the prices are unbeatable!!! Go and check this place out you will not be disappointed. Do make an appointment because they are very busy on the weekends.

    I went here last night for an impulsive pixie. I didn't get off of work until seven, and they were one of the few places open late enough for me to get there. I was obviously nervous, and Krystal let me take baby steps until I was comfortable. After removing several inches, it looked great, and I completely trusted her. A great conversationalist, Krystal kept me entertained while trimming my locks into a beautiful Twiggy-like replication. This will be my regular place for trims!

  Great Salon I just have to say that Milas hair salon is just a great salon overall! My daughter and I have been going there for two years now. I have always gotten amazing customer service but most of all I have gotten the best results of what I had ask for! I get my hair cut and color done my Mila, Marina and Julie to name a few and they all have done a amazing job. My daughter gets her hair and her eyelashes done there too and we just love this place.   I have been going to milas for 3 years now and each time I am go I always have a really good experience. Everyone is very friendly and courteous and they go above and beyond to make me feel valued as a customer. This is especially true in my experience with Sara Clarke who has been doing my hair for over a year at Mila's. She really takes the time to listen to what I am asking for and asks questions to confirm her understanding. Then, I am always more satisfied with the end result than what I originally had in mind. Sara is creative and skilled at what she does and flexible in working with me to fit my busy schedule into her work schedule.   Having just moved into the Tucson area I was scared to go anywhere to get my haircut!! I previously had a horrible experience at Jc Penneys and was considering spending way to much money at Gadabout. After reading reviews online I decided to try Mila's Hair Salon. I had an AMAZING experience!!! I LOVE Rebekah!!! She was so nice and she knew what she was talking about!! She did exactly what I wanted. She also does an amazing job on eyebrows!! I will be going back to Rebekah for sure in the future! I also took my little brother here and the other girl did an amazing job on his hair as well!

  Like so many of the other reviews, I moved to Tucson about 2 years ago. I had given up finding someone who could cut and highlight my hair and started to just decide it would have to be on my to do list every time I went back to Texas to see my family! I am so happy I found this salon and found Marina to cut and highlight my hair!!! She takes her time to discuss with me what I want & offers her opinion (bc I frequently asked for it) but is not pushy, as she is most concerned with me feeling pleased with the cut. I've never had such gorgeous highlights in my life! I'm so excited to go places & fix my hair bc it looks so great!!! Thanks Marina, you are the best!!! Let me also add that one weekend I made a last minute appointment on a Saturday for a Sunday cut. Mila the owner called me on Sunday to ask me if I could come in a few hours earlier....bc of my work schedule I couldn't....did she cancel me? No, Mila herself stayed & did my cut and color even though she was there until 8pm that evening!!! She did a gorgeous job as well!!!! Last of all, the prices CAN'T be beat!   All guys- I am very particular about my haircuts so it is without hesitation that I recommend Carmen and Milas for your next hair appointment or facial.  Carmen is extremely professional, provides amazing service of the highest quality and not to mention, Carmen is one of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet !  Truly the best haircut I have ever received and if you want to treat yourself to a wonderful skin experience a facial from Carmen is a must!!   All services are very reasonably priced.

My stylist that day was Teia. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she went to cutting. The end result was awesome! Teia was very attentive and very knowledgable in her field. Ever since that first hair cut I have gone to her for every hair cut and every time she delivers! I definitely recommend Milas!

  Mila is cutting my hair for more than 10 years now. I have a difficult hair to cut. It is very fine and curls in different directions. I always struggled to find a hairdresser who can do it well. And, I have to stay on the budget. This limits my choices to inexpensive chain places where they cut your hair fast, but with unpredictable quality. At Mila's it is different, she takes her time to work her magic. She pays attention and she is very patient. She is careful to cut my hair to the same length, to layer it, and to tame those stubborn curls. I am always happy with my haircut! In addition to get my GREAT haircut, I also enjoy going to Mila's because I am treated to a good conversation, a great smile, and a courteous invitation to come back again. I highly recommend Mila's for your next trip to a hairdresser; you will get a great haircut and will not break your budget. Linda

  The best haircut I've ever had!

  After sporting the same haircut since jr. high (seriously!), I decided I wanted to go short. Rather than trusting my locks to a national chain, I headed into Mila's, where the owner herself went over the pictures I'd brought in, helped me figure out what would look good, and carefully trim off many inches of hair. She showed me how to style it quickly with a little bit of goo and a hairdryer, which is very easy despite my style inexperience.
  I was initially apprehensive about "the big reveal," since I wear glasses and can't see the work in progress, but I was absolutely floored by how great my hair looks. No post-cut regret to be found!
  Best of all, the cut and style was $16, which isn't much more than I'd spend at a national chain. Awesome! I will definitely be back for any other haircuts I get, and I would recommend the salon in a heartbeat!

  I just got the best haircut of my life, thanks to Mila! After 20 years of the same, straight-bob hairdo, I decided it's time for a New Year's change, and I wanted my hair short. I brought in a few pictures of styles I liked, unsure of what would look good with my face shape, and Mila compared the pictures, explained the cuts, and helped me pick something she thought I would like.
  And like it I did! After chopping off TONS of hair (very carefully!) and working some magic with the blowdryer and a little bit of styling goo, I had an AMAZING hairdo that looks really cute and is easy to take care of.
  Overall, I didn't want to entrust such a big job to SuperCuts (no offense!), and I definitely did the right thing by coming here. I got a wonderful style from an experienced stylist for only a few bucks more than the national chains, and I will most definitely be back next time I need a trim!

  After many years of being loyal to another salon, I found Mila's Hair Salon by accident in the website. I wanted a hair cut on a Sunday and Mila's Salon was the only one open. For the first time I had a hair cut that made me happy. I was so pleased seeing how much Mila knows about hair and hair conditions, that I decided to have my hair colored by her. I cancelled all my appointments for the rest of the year in the other Salon and now I am a client of Mila's Hair Salon. I recommend Mila's Hair Salon very highly and the fact that having a location in the Foothills, Craycroft and River makes it very convenient for me.

  My wife and I recently visited Milas Salon, and we were both very happy. My hair is fairly easy to cut, but my wife very seldom gets a haircut she is happy with!   All I have to say is wow!!! I am so incredibly pleased with the way my beard was trimmed. I have gone to several different hair salons, but with no luck finding an individual who would trim my beard the way I wanted, or even close for that matter. I was so impressed with the way Mila had cut my girlfriends hair (the color is beautiful) plus while I was waiting Mila offered me coffee and tea and the salon had free WiFi. After that I made the appointment two days later for me. It has been about two weeks now and everyday I wake up I look forward to showing off my beard. Mila took her time to help me feel comfortable (I am extremely picky) and I cannot thank her ENOUGH for her fabulous sense of style, WHAT A TALENT!!! I found my permanent hairdresser, and I am so excited and relieved! Thank you Mila, keep up the great work!!!!

  Will Not Go ANYWHERE Else!! I am fairly new to Tucson, and was referred to Mila's after going elsewhere in search of a new stylist, and having my hair "butchered" at another salon. I called Mila's, explained what I was looking for, and was given an appointment with Kayla. I took in pictures, and Kayla spent time consulting with me before she began working on my hair. She really listened to what I wanted, and then gave me the best cut and style!! I am so happy to have beautiful hair, and Kayla's talent is the reason!!   Great Haircut and Color My second visit. It's refreshing to find a shop with nice people who do good work. I've been to many shops here in Tucson where I was charged alot of money for mediocre or less work. They give you a free haircut with any chemical work, which makes this a real bargain. I'll go back.   I have been going to Mila s Hair for about a year now and let me tell you!! I absolutely recommend them. I have been getting my haircut from Mila herself and its always perfect.The girls there are always very nice and cheerful. Im a pretty picky person and Ive been to a lot of so called high end salons but never have I been impressed until now with Mila s. After being a client for about a year now, I had noticed Mila s huge clientele for eyelash extensions. So I gave them a try recently and Wow!!! FAB-EYELASHES!!!!! Im so hooked like a eyelash junkie waiting to get her next fix from Mila s. Ladies go check them out for yourself you will not be disappointed.

   

   

   Comments: I just wanted to say, "Thank you!" to Kayla for the wonderful job she did on my hair. I've gotten nothing but compliments on my hair. She listened to me and added her own experience to create what is likely the best haircut I've ever had! Seriously, everyone who has seen my new look has raved about how good I look!   Great experience, I enjoy coming here on a regular basis. Great service plus nice haircuts. I get treated pretty nicely and enjoy their company. Definitely do recommend.

  This is a very good salon. I booked a last minute appt with Mila. I was a little concerned with the basic (but very clean) salon and low posted prices, thinking that I was going to get a mediocre haircut. 
  Wow - was I wrong. I got a fantastic and very straightforward haircut for $20. I still can't believe it - I have been spending $50 at the big overpriced chain in town and this is my best cut by far. 
  Highly recommend.

  I've been going to Milas for over 4 years now! I don't know how many haircuts that adds up to, but it's a bunch. I'd just like to say WOW! always perfect, always inexspensive and always friendly Haircutters who listen. I can personally recommend Mila, Ruben, Carmen and several others I can't remember all their names. My Compliments for your consistent attention to quality and customer service. I recommend without hesitation!

  I have been to the River and Craycroft location of Mila's Haircuts and Salon a few times now, but today they really shined and deserve a review. After moving to Tucson and leaving behind a wonderful and trusted stylist of many years, it took me a while before I decide to try Teia at Mila's (her photo on the website had almost the same cut I do, so I knew I could trust her). She was friendly, welcoming, and my hair was so perfect I felt a little less homesick. The second time was no different. Today, when I went for a root touch up (brown to super white blonde--a LOT of work, and not easy to get right) and cut, Teia again delivered. It's probably the best color I've had, and as usual an awesome cut, all while balancing an insanely busy day, including walk-ins, schedule changes, and all manner of craziness. Teia (and Rocio, who was also in the salon), made sure everyone left happy and with a smile on their faces. I would have recommended Teia before, but after seeing what a superstar she was today, even under all that pressure, I have to spread the news. Teia is superb, and I can't see my self going to anywhere other than Mila's while I'm living in Tucson.

  I walked in to Mila's looking frumpy as can be and sat down with Kayla. I told her I wanted to leave there feeling fixed and beautiful. Kayla took her time and we decided the color, cut and style I was going for. She listened closely to what I had to say and made me feel cared for. She not only took her time in talking to me, but also in working on my hair. She wanted to make sure it was right, and also something I could manage at home. She worked tirelessly and when my hair was finished, I looked like a princess or a movie star!!! I feel beautiful thanks to her! I would recommend Mila's any day and to ANYONE! In the last few days since I have gotten my hair done, I have gotten so many compliments on my hair (even from professionals) I feel I am probably the most grateful client ever to walk in to Mila's and will remain so, because no one will ever cut my hair again besides Kayla at Mila's :)

  Go check them out! I get my haircut and keratin done there. My hair always comes out looking great:) I recently tried eyelashes because I saw a couple of customers eyelashes and let me tell you!!!! I was blown away with the results;) Great customer service and affordable.

   

   

  Comments: Hello- I want to write a review for my awesome new hair style, however, I am not on Facebook. Here is what I want to say: I came in last night since I was staying the night in Tucson (I am from Gilbert, AZ) I "goggled hair salons in Tucson" Milas popped up so I called and spoke to Rocio. She was super friendly on the phone and made me feel welcome. She was able to see me on a Friday night for a cut, and color. What I did not know when I walked in, that I would walk out feeling and looking like a new person. I look 10 years younger. She was so professional, patient and full of great ideas. She made suggestions that I never thought about. She gave me a great cut, colored and highlighted my hair and she also waxed my eyebrows. They look the best they have ever looked. I have never stayed with one salon, but that has now changed. I will be coming back. Thank you Rocio, you did an awesome job.   I went to see Amanda and was taking luck of the draw!  But what a win for me!  She knows how to cut curly hair, which is not an easy task and she styled it beautifully.  I would definitely recommend her to anyone.  She is new in town, so Sourth Carolina's loss is Tucson's win!

  I just wanted to tell you that you and your staff are great. I went in a few weeks ago after went to other shops asking someone to do something with my hair. because it was really messed up. no one wanted to touch it. I showed Ruben the picture that I would like to have my hair and he said the he could do it. and he did. he did a great job. I walked in feeling bad about myself and how I looked and walked out feeling great. I had told everyone who did it. I had so many people tell how great my hair looked. and alot of people said that they want the same hair cut. I just wanted to take this time to say thank you for doing a great job.   I went in to see Julie after having grown my hair out for 2 years. I was nervous about switching too a shorter style but she made me feel very comfortable!   As it was time to look for a new stylist here in Tucson, it became a terrifying event to me to start the search for someone new after many years with my former stylist. As most of us do these days, I hit the Web to begin my search. My gosh, there were so many sites out there is was mind boggling to decide "ok, who am I going to trust to cut my short spikey hair and at the same time keep a business profesional appearance".
  
  After searching many sites util I became blue in the face I kept coming back to Mila's. Your site had really impressed me with all the information on your salon, the professional appearance and especially the hours of operations not even to mention your reasonable pricing. I thought, oh well, I'm off on vacation this week so let's try it and just in case I am not pleased with the services I still have a few days to try and style my hair at home prior to returning to the office, or if need be, find someone else to fix it.

  I have been going to milas for 3 years now and each time I am go I always have a really good experience. Everyone is very friendly and courteous and they go above and beyond to make me feel valued as a customer. This is especially true in my experience with Sara Clarke who has been doing my hair for over a year at Mila's. She really takes the time to listen to what I am asking for and asks questions to confirm her understanding. Then, I am always more satisfied with the end result than what I originally had in mind. Sara is creative and skilled at what she does and flexible in working with me to fit my busy schedule into her work schedule.
